Varisu Story
The film “Vaarisu” is a family action-drama, the story of which focuses on Vijay Rajendran. Vijay is the youngest son of a wealthy industrialist Rajendran Palaniswamy, who has no interest in his family business and starts his own food delivery startup. Angered by this decision, his father throws him out of the house.
Seven years later, Rajendran is diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and wants to announce his successor. His two elder sons Jai and Ajay undermine each other in the race to become the successor. Jai cheats on his wife, while Ajay is heavily in debt and sells out family business secrets to rival JP.
At the insistence of Rajendran’s wife Sudha, Vijay returns home and gradually understands the family disintegration. When Rajendran learns the truth about his sons, he asks Vijay to take over the business. Vijay initially refuses but agrees after learning about his father’s illness.
Vijay successfully takes over the business and reunites the family. Jai accepts his mistakes, Vijay also brings Ajay back after convincing him. In the end, after Rajendran’s death, the three brothers together perform his last rites.
