Veteran director Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming multilingual film Kubera is going to hit the theatres as a social thriller, with a release scheduled on June 20, 2025. The shooting of the film began in January 2024 from Hyderabad. After this, the shooting took place in Tirupati, Goa, Bangkok and Mumbai. In Mumbai, Dhanush shot an important scene near a dumpyard for 12 continuous hours.
