Movie Review

“Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi” is a romantic comedy film based on time travel and family values. While the film has managed to attract some viewers, some have called it a film with old thinking and backward approach.

One viewer has written his review very honestly – he was reviewing the film while watching it. He said that the film is based on a science fiction time-travel, but its story takes the audience 10-15 years back. The film seemed very old and backward to him. He says that recent Kannada films like Shakahari, Moorane Krishnappa, Blink, and Laughing Buddha have done well despite small budgets and were also rich in content. He appealed to the producers to use the budget properly and make films that are at least relevant to today’s times. He believes that just showing more actors together on screen does not make a film a family film, it should have a story with solid and current references.

On the other hand, another viewer Ranjith Kumar B has praised the film. According to him, the biggest strength of the film is its screenplay and direction. He described the pairing of Ganesh and Malavika Nair as beautiful and suitable. He believes that choosing such a film was a lucky decision for both the actors. The director has been praised for presenting a different and distinctive subject. He wrote that Ganesh’s acting in the film is very impressive and actors like Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Sashi Kumar and Shruti have also played their roles well. The film is full of humor, entertainment and family emotions, making it a perfect family entertainer.

According to him, this film is a good gift for the audience in 2024. He described it as a joyous experience to watch and recommended the audience to watch it with the whole family.

Conclusion

“Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi” is a family romantic comedy film woven with emotions, humor and relationships. The pairing of Ganesh and Malavika Nair in the film is attractive, and the acting of the co-stars is also commendable. However, some viewers found the story to be clichéd and backward. The film received mixed reviews from audiences—it was hailed as a family entertainer, while it was criticised for its lack of contemporaneity. Overall, the film is a light-hearted entertainer, especially for a family watch.
