Bhairavam Story
The story of the Telugu film Bhairavam is based on a rural background. The Varahi Ammavari temple located in Devipuram village in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh is the center of this story. The trustee of this temple is Nagarathnamma (Jaya Sudha), who raises her three grandsons – Gajapathi (Manchu Manoj), Varada (Nara Rohit), and Srinu (Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas) with equal affection.
Things change when a powerful tantrik sets his eyes on the temple land. After Nagarathnamma’s death, Srinu is appointed the trustee of the temple, who is supported by Gajapathi and Varad. But certain events take place that lead to Gajapathi himself killing his beloved brother Varad.
The story takes on a mysterious and emotional twist as the audience tries to figure out what led Gajapathi to take such a step. Srinu, a truthful and passionate young man, is forced to lie to the police and Varad’s wife (Divya Pillai), leading to misunderstandings.
The film also shows why Srinu lied for Gajapathi, and what is the truth eventually. The emotional bond, betrayal, and sacrifice between these three brothers give a strong base to the story of the film.
Bhairavam is a film that is full of action and emotion along with family, tradition, and faith. Though the film has some flaws, its basic plot keeps the audience engaged.
