Wife Sumati, who ran away from a rich family, wants to start a home cooking business. Debt-ridden Bhaskar’s life changes when he makes big profits for the first time by selling stolen televisions with the help of smuggler Anthony.
Gradually he learns to launder black money through smuggling and then the stock market. But as his wealth grows, his nature changes and he becomes distant from his family. His wife Sumathi leaves him and his father warns him about the disastrous consequences of greed.
Finally, when Bhaskar discovers a major fraud by the bank and its leaders, he sticks to the truth. He reports the evidence to the RBI and resigns. Finally, Bhaskar starts a new life in the US with his family, buying a hotel and getting an investment visa.
