CHHORII 2 Story
The story of Chhorii 2 begins where the first film ended. Sakshi (Nushrat Bharucha) surrenders to the police and confesses that she has killed her husband Rajbeer/Hemant (Saurabh Goyal). But he is not arrested due to lack of evidence. Sakshi then moves to the city with her daughter Ishani (Hardika Sharma) and starts a new life as a teacher in a school.
Seven years pass and Ishani develops a rare disease in which she cannot be exposed to sunlight. Meanwhile, the villagers who had earlier abandoned Ishani suddenly kidnap her and take her back to the village. This is the beginning of another struggle for Sakshi. She sets out to rescue her daughter.
Sakshi’s old friend Samar (Gashmeer Mahajani), now a police officer, also plays an important role in the story. Also, the role of a mysterious woman named Desi Maa (Soha Ali Khan) adds an atmosphere of fear and mystery to the story.
The film also touches upon topics such as past events and social evils such as child marriage. The concept of “primitive man” also gives a different direction to the story. The climax of the film is emotional and shocking.
Chhori 2 strikes a balance between a social message and a horror atmosphere, which keeps the audience hooked till the end.

Chhorii 2 is a horror rollercoaster – bringing scares, thrills and a weird sense of fun. The first film set a strong benchmark with a great mix of thriller and horror. The sequel carries forward that legacy, and starts off on a strong note with a 7-year flashback.
Nushrat Bharucha and Soha Ali Khan bring life to the film with their performances. Nushrat deserves a real pat on the back for her portrayal of Sakshi, who brings out the pain, strength and fear in her character. Soha is impressive in her mysterious and scary portrayal of the “desi maa”.
The horror elements in the film are not based on cheap jump scares, but the fear creeps up on you slowly – a whistling wind, shadows falling on the wall, and camera angles that make every corner scary. The cinematography is so well-crafted that there is an uneasy silence in every scene.
The story of the film is not just limited to scares. Somehow, social issues like child marriage are also presented in a very light but effective manner. This will surely impress the audience who appreciate social depth.
The climax of the film, however, is the real gem — it powerfully brings out the anger and awareness within women who have been suppressed under patriarchy for the last three decades. When they rise, it is not just revenge — it is liberation, completely raw and true.
