Movie Review
I watched “Captain America: Brave New World” last week and honestly I can’t get this movie out of my head because it was really great. When I read the one-star reviews, it seemed like most people were just negative about Harrison Ford’s bike scene or the fact that Captain America was black, which is really disappointing. But as they say, there are haters.
I still gave this movie four stars though. The first reason is that the lighting on Sam (Anthony Mackie) after the Hulk fight looked like two little kids shining torches on him. The second reason is that the Red Hulk character was hyped up so much that he barely got five minutes of screen time in the movie. I know the Red Hulk’s CGI is expensive, but it should have been used more.
Also, Isiah Bradley’s character could have been more deeply portrayed as a racist character. (His performance in TWATWS really brought tears.) In some scenes, the plot felt a bit scattered, as if they were side quests.
But as for the villain, he did a great job. His mind control plan and scary atmosphere gave me goosebumps. It would have been more fun if his backstory and trauma were shown a little better. Costumes, makeup, sound and set design all did a great job. Congratulations to the entire team for this!
Now if we talk about Syed Qayyum’s review, he has advised that this film should be watched in formats like 3D, IMAX 3D, Real 3D, Screen X, 4D-X or Dolby Vision. He says that there is no flaw in any CGI or visual effects in the film. Especially the CGI of Red Hulk is made very detailed and realistic.
He also told that the first hour of the film is a bit slow because it focuses more on the political thriller angle, but the second hour is full of tremendous action.
Harrison Ford and Anthony Mackie’s performances are the film’s biggest strengths. The nine-minute long aerial battle near Tiamat Celestial (which is buried in the Indian Pacific Ocean) is also worth watching. The final battle with Red Hulk is also a highlight of the film.
Although Red Hulk would have been more fun if he got a little more screen time, the nine-minute long fight between Sam Wilson and Red Hulk was quite satisfying. Overall, he also enjoyed the film a lot and expressed his desire to see it again.
He is also now eagerly waiting for “Thunderbolts (2025)” and “Fantastic Four (2025)” as they will feature the most powerful characters of the MCU, Sentry and Galactus.

The film “Captain America: Brave New World” is a fantastic cinematic experience, presenting the audience with a new and impressive Captain America. The performances of Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford are strong, and the final battle with the Red Hulk is the highlight of the film. Although there are some minor shortcomings such as Red Hulk’s less screen time and some scenes seeming slow, the film’s action, emotional depth and technical aspects (CGI, sound, set design) are praiseworthy. Overall, this film is a great mix of entertainment, thrill and emotion that is a must-watch.
