Beast Story
‘Beast’ is an action comedy Tamil film starring Vijay in the lead role. The story begins with a RAW agent named Veera Raghavan, who is given a mission to capture a dangerous terrorist Umar Farooq in Pakistan. Veera captures Farooq, but the missile fired to stop him kills an innocent girl. Devastated by the incident, Veera resigns from RAW and returns to Chennai.
A year later, he is suffering from PTSD (post-traumatic stress). On the advice of a psychiatrist, he attends a wedding, where he meets Preeti. Love blossoms between the two. Preeti gets him a job in a security agency called “Dominic and Soldiers”. Meanwhile, Veera notices some suspicious activities in a mall. Soon, terrorist Umar Saif (Farooq’s brother) along with his men take over the mall.
Veera along with his men hide in a restaurant and make contact with the government. At first, he doesn’t want to intervene, but seeing the situation, he takes up the fight against the terrorists. He stealthily kills the terrorists one by one and foils their plans.
The government eventually releases Farooq, but Veera captures him again in Pakistan a few months later and brings him back to India. The film ends with a scene of celebrating with friends in Goa. ‘Beast’ is a fast-paced film that presents patriotism, thrill and comedy together.
