Hanu-Man Story

The story of the film Hanuman-Man takes place in a fictitious village Anjanadri, which suffers under the rule of the tyrannical landlord Gajapati. The hero Hanumanthu is a petty thief who has been in love with Meenakshi, the granddaughter of the village school teacher, since childhood. Meenakshi raises her voice against Gajapathi and inspires the villagers as well. Gajapathi stages a fake bandit attack to eliminate her, which Hanumanthu foils, but is severely injured and falls into the sea.

There, in the sea, he finds a divine gemstone that is associated with the power of Lord Hanuman. This gemstone gives him extraordinary powers in sunlight. He heals faster and gains amazing strength. He later becomes the new ruler of Anjanadri after defeating Gajapathi in wrestling, but decides to impose democracy.

Meanwhile, Michael from Mumbai, who wants to make himself a superhero, comes to Anjanadri so that he can steal Hanumanthu’s power. After a series of incidents, Michael attacks the village, spreading poisonous gas and killing Hanumanthu’s sister Anjamma. A heartbroken Hanumanthu feels he has lost his power, but regains his strength under Vibhishan’s guidance and Meenakshi’s courage.

In the end, he fights Michael, destroys his helicopter, and absorbs Hanuman’s power into himself. The film ends with the hint of Lord Hanuman’s awakening and the upcoming demonic powers, hinting at the sequel Jai Hanuman.

Movie Review

Hanu-Man is a film that blends Indian mythology with the techniques of modern cinema to give the audience an unforgettable experience. Teja Sajja plays the lead role in this film and he has portrayed the character from an unemployed, aimless youth to an inspiring superhero with ease and impact. He not only looked comfortable in light-hearted scenes, but also showed maturity in emotional scenes. His look and energy are the soul of the entire film.

Amrita Aiyer also showed good screen presence and looked good in her role. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar acted brilliantly as the hero’s sister, especially in the emotional scenes. She gave an emotional depth to the film. Vinay Rai played the villain and his performance was impressive, although his character seems to be a Hollywood villain to a large extent. Vennela Kishore and Getup Srinu gave a lot of entertainment with comic timing, while Sathya’s scenes are also quite funny.

On the technical side, director Prasanth Varma’s vision is commendable. They may have chosen a familiar story, but the way they have presented it to the audience is unique. Especially the last twenty minutes take the film to a different level. All the scenes related to Lord Hanuman are extremely impressive.

The cinematography is a brilliant work by Dasarathi Shivendra, every frame looks big and grand. Music composers Gowrahari, Anudeep Dev and Krishna Saurabh have given songs that go well with the story. The background score also adds depth to the scenes. The VFX and art department have given excellent visuals in a limited budget, which make it feel grand on the big screen.

Overall, Hanu-Maan is a visual treat that not only entertains but also inspires. The film portrays values like Dharma, heroism and dedication very well. It is a film that audiences of all age groups should watch. Teja Sajja’s performance, Prasanth Varma’s direction and the hard work of the entire team make it a memorable experience.
